Kolkata, West Bengal, is planning to set up an integrated textile park in Howrah
district, Vijay K. Binaykia, president of the chamber told Projectwire. The
textile park, which will have an initial investment of Rs 550 crore, will come

Bengal Integrated Textile Park Ltd, a special purpose vehicle, has been formed
to develop the project. The SPV has identified the land and is in the process of
acquiring it from the state government. Out of 100 acres, about 78 acres are
expected to be acquired shortly.
