Metso Minerals, part of the Finnish Metso Group, has won two orders valued at Euro 18 million, from BMM Ispat and JSW Steel. Both the orders will be executed in Karnataka.
For BMM Ispat Ltd, Metso will supply an iron ore beneficiation plant at the Hospet-Bellary mines in Karnataka. The order valued at around Rs 46 crore will be completed by 2010 end. The new 250 tph plant will beneficiate iron ore fines through gravity separation and high gradient magnetic separation.
JSW Steel has placed an order for an iron ore induration machine. The 375 tph machine will be installed at the Vijaynagar facility in Bellary district of Karnataka. Metso expects to complete the Rs 73-crore order by the first quarter of 2010.
