Work on Lanco's 400-mw gas-based combined cycle power unit at Kondapalli in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh has commenced, reports ProjectsToday. The company has appointed Fichtner Consulting Engineers India, Chennai, as technical consultant and Enviro Tech, Hyderabad, as the environment consultant for the Rs 1,100-crore project, which is scheduled for completion in 2010.
