MSRDC plans cable-stayed bridges in north Mumbai

Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Ltd has invited bids for project management consultancy services for the construction of cable-stayed bridges on Gorai creek on Borivali-Gorai village road and on the creek connecting Vasai and Bhayandar, both north of Mumbai.
The scope of work includes carrying out topographic survey, traffic survey, hydraulic and oceanographic studies, geotechnical investigations, preparation of concept plans, GAD, design and drawings, detailed estimates, environment studies and clearances, social impact assessment, preparation of bid documents, assisting MSRDC in inviting tenders for appointment of contractor for construction of bridges, and post-tender activities such as supervision of the work during execution.
Tender documents will be available for Rs 10,000 till September 16 and the last date of submission is September 25, 2008.
