The 50-year-old Mumbai-based Kamala Group is constructing a shopping mall-cum-multiplex Rock-N-Roll Mall at Mapusa, North Goa. The mall project aims to launch Kamala Group as the premier real estate developer in the state. The commercial complex is scheduled to be completed by February 2010; however, the cost of the project has not been disclosed.
The Group has developed more than 20 million sq. ft residential, commercial and industrial space, and over 10 million sq. ft is in the pipeline across various locations like Mumbai, Pune and Lucknow.
The company has also forayed into SEZ, renewable energy, textiles, power, electronics and lifestyle business.
