Delhi Police is in the process of finalising the tenders it has invited for the
construction of the police HQ and residential building complex from architects
and technical consultants. The global request for proposal has been invited a

"We have received nine bids for the residential complex and eight bids for the
police headquarters, and we will announce the final bidder soon, said B.S. Bamel,
Assistant Commissioner of Police.
Bamel further said that the proposed building would come up on eight acres of
land near Parliament House in New Delhi. "We have acquired the required land.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs 150 crore and the project is expected to
complete in two years from the date of award of civil contract," he added.
