Infrastructure Corporation of Andhra Pradesh will not be going ahead with its plans to develop an airport at Kothagudam in Khammam district of the state as the company has not been able to get the required land. The airport was part of the Regional Airports plan that included development of airports in Nellore, Nizamabad, Tedepallegudam, Bobblli, Ramagundam, Kurnool and Ongole districts.
At present, financial bids for Kurnool, Ramagundam and Nizamabad airports are being evaluated, while the company's plan to develop airports at Tedepallegudam, Bobblli, Nellore and Ongole are still in initial stages.
