Transmission projects by PowerGrid
PowerGrid Corporation, which is responsible for transmission of energy in the country, has identified various projects associated with mega IPPs and state power projects at a cumulative investment of $8,550 million. The Central PSU intends to rope in the private sector on BOOT basis for these transmission lines. The project is part of the whole plan to connect the country with the national grid.
