Overseas road shows for NELP III
The Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons will be conducting a series of road shows in Singapore, London, Houston and Calgary to launch its latest oil and gas licensing rounds under the New Exploration Licensing Policy III. Petroleum Minister Ram Naik, who plans to participate in the presentations, will provide additional details on the investment policy, fiscal and contractual terms, and geology of blocks in NELP III. Moreover, the NELP III delegation will meet with interested parties, one-on-one, to address issues in detail.
NELP III includes 27 blocks, which cover 11 on land, 7 shallow water offshore and 9 deepwater offshore blocks. These are: Assam Arakan - 4 blocks, Cambay - 1 block, Cauvery Offshore - 3 blocks, Himalayan Foreland - 1 block, Kerala-Konkan - 6 blocks, Krishna-Godavari Offshore - 4 blocks, Palar Offshore - 2 blocks, Pranhita Godavari - 1 block, Purnea - 1 block, Rajasthan - 1 block, Saurashtra Offshore - 1 block, Vindhyan - 1 block and West Bengal - 1 block.
