Piling works in sea link project

HCC, which is implementing package IV of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link Project, has achieved substantial progress in constructing piles and cofferdams in the inert-tidal zone. Marine piling work for 2 metre diameter piles at pylon location is also in progress. The company is also erecting cofferdam for constructing tower base at pylon location. In September 2000, HCC was awarded the contract for constructing the main sea bridge and toll plazas for Rs 400.23 crore.
