Nabard to fund Senbagathope scheme

NABARD has consented to fund the Rs 34 crore Senbagathope reservoir minor irrigation scheme in Tamil Nadu. The project, on completion, will serve 1,200 hectares of land in Thiruvannamalai district. The preliminary work has already begun and the scheme is likely to be completed in the first quarter of 2004.
