Bangalore traffic junction to be remodelled
The Bangalore City Corporation has chalked out a Rs 10 crore project for remodelling 106 traffic junctions in the city to ease both pedestrian and vehicle traffic. The tendering process for the project has already commenced and work is expected to commence within two months. The remodelling involves widening roads, levelling footpaths, developing medians, erecting direction boards and putting up road barricades. The Karnataka Road Development Corporation has been entrusted with the task of planning and executing the project. Graft (India) Pvt. Ltd has prepared the detailed project report for the project.
