Apparel park in Bangalore

The Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board is setting up a Rs 32 crore apparel park at Doddaballapur, near Bangalore. KIADB, a state PSU, will acquire 150 to 180 acres of land for the park. This exercise will be completed in three months.
The park itself will be ready in two-three years. The Centre has cleared 100-150 small and medium units for the park. The project will be partly financed by the Centre via a subsidy of Rs 17 crore. The state government is also planning to set up another apparel park in north Karnataka.
