The Coimbatore-based PSG Industrial Institute is developing frequency converter/controller and high frequency motor pump sets for irrigation with financial support from the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Government of India. The motor for the pump has been specifically designed, fabricated and tested at full load. The pump and controller have been designed and developed for the agricultural sector.
