Apparel Park at Tronica City

The Union Ministry of Textiles has accorded in-principle clearance for the Apparel Park for exports proposed to be set up at Tronica City - Integrated Industrial Township developed by the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation in Ghaziabad district.
The park will be set up with assistance from the Central government and contributions from UPSIDC, the implementing agency. The park will be spread over 146 acres. The Rs 49 crore project will be implemented in two phases and completed within 18 months from the commencement of work.
Infrastructure facilities at the park will include a training centre and workshop, flatted factory, administrative and other buildings, effluent treatment plant, captive power plant, substation and solid waste management.
The Central government has also agreed to provide a grant of up to 50 per cent of the cost of any training facility created at the park (up to a maximum of Rs 2 crore).
