Contractors sought for rig transport
ONGC Ltd is seeking transport contractors for turnkey transportation of drilling rigs. The work also includes loading at old site and uploading at new site by providing the necessary fleet of hydraulic cranes, trailers and trucks at both places.
As per the qualifying criteria, the interested party should have a minimum of two years experience as a sub-contractor in handling heavy oil field equipment and must have adequate number of equipment.
Tender documents may be collected for Rs 1,000 till June 28. These have to be submitted along with an EMD of Rs 3.5 lakh each for the two categories of rigs by July 15. A pre-bid conference has been arranged for further clarification on July 8, 2002.

Hiring of material handling service
Sealed tenders for hiring of "Material Handling Service" at Nhava Supply Base for a period of two years are sought by DGM-Chief Nhava under two bid system from experienced contractors, having minimum three years experience of providing material handling services to any government, public sector or reputed organisation. Non-transferable tender document containing all other terms and conditions can be obtained from the office of DGM-Chief Nhava, At-Post: Nhava, Taluka Panvel, District Raigad. The tender fee is Rs 500. EMD of Rs 4 lakh (to be submitted along with technical bid to be paid at the time of submission of tender). Tender sale up to July 1, 2002. Pre-bid conference is on July 5 at Nhava Supply Base.
The last date for submission of tenders is July 17, 2002.
