Cochin Port Trust to lease land
The Cochin Port Trust is leasing out land for port related mechanised and storage facilities for bulk cargo at the back-up area, for commercial purposes like setting up tank farms, CFS and petrol diesel outlets. The land would be given on a 30-year period for which premium would be required and a lease rent at the rate of Rs 1 per sq. metre per year with a 30 per cent increase every five years.
Interested parties can collect their documents for Rs 2,200 up to July 9. These should be submitted along with EMD of Rs 15 lakh per hectare for first two packages and Rs 10 lakh for the other package by July 10.
