Irrigation works in Karnataka
Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Ltd has invited sealed tenders from prequalified contractors for undertaking construction work on turnkey basis. The scope of the work includes design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the lift irrigation system of Kotabagi Lift irrigation scheme on the left bank. The work, estimated to cost Rs 11.86 crore, involves supplying pumping machineries, EOT cranes, electrical works, construction of intake arrangements, pump house, and later operation of the system for two years after the date of completion of the 1st and 2nd lift.
Class I & II contractors must submit their applications by July 2. They may collect the tender documents for Rs 15,000 on July 15 & 16. Completed bids should be submitted along with EMD of Rs 11.87 lakh on September 3-4. A pre-bid conference has also been arranged on August 8, for further clarifications.
