TRF Limited
Established in 1962, TRF Limited (formerly Tata-Robins-Fraser Ltd) is one of India's leading companies in the business of design, manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning of engineered-to-order equipment and systems in the areas of bulk material handling, loading and unloading, bulk material processing, that is screening and crushing and stacking, reclaiming and blending of bulk materials.
Tata Materials Handling Ltd and Tata Technodyne Ltd have both been amalgamated with TRF Limited with effect from March 1, 2000. Tata Material Handling Systems Ltd, formerly, was established in 1979, and had initially obtained its design and technologies from its associates, MAN-GHH, Germany, for various products like stock yard equipment, level luffing cranes, grab unloaders, ship loaders, gantry cranes, container cranes and special purpose cranes. Tata Technodyne Ltd was promoted by Tata Steel as its subsidiary in 1997 for EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contracts in the areas of infrastructure, captive power generation, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, hydrocarbons and coal washeries.
With the amalgamation of two group companies, TRF Limited now has interests in the business of design, manufacture and installation of custom engineered products, equipment, systems and services in all the above areas, and takes pride in its reinforced competencies in the disciplines of mechanical, civil, electrical and control engineering, high quality manufacturing, project management and site construction activities. It caters to the needs of end-user customers comprising core and infrastructure sectors, including power, steel, ports, cement, mines, chemicals and fertilisers, and construction industries.
