Elecon Engineering Company
Established in 1951, Elecon Engineering Company Ltd of Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, pioneered the manufacture of material handling equipment in the country. Elecon Engineering manufactures elevators, conveyors, gears, trippers, wagon trippers, marshalling equipments, stackers and reclaimers, crushers, scrappers, feeders, ship loaders, roller screens and cable reeling drums. During these five decades, Elecon has designed and implemented several landmark projects in India as well as abroad. Elecon has made its presence felt in such core sectors as fertilisers, cement, coal and power generation, chemical, steel plant and port mechanisation etc., across the country. The company has more than 90 dealers and 30 resident engineers looking into daily requirements of clients. Also, it has its branch offices in nearly all the important cities.
Emtici Engineering Ltd is the sole selling agent of Elecon Engineering Co. Ltd and some of the other group companies. It is also engaged in fabrication and erection activity for coal handling plants and other material handling equipment and providing post-sale as well as warranty services and post-warranty services for supplies of principals.
Ringspann Elecon (I) Ltd, a joint venture company between Ringspann GmbH, Germany, and Elecon Engineering Company Ltd, has been providing the latest freewheel technology and high-tech solutions for a variety of problems in power transmission equipments.
