New school at Rajkot

The foundation stone for a new school in Rajkot was laid recently by state Education Minister Anandinben Patel. The new school will come up in place of the existing Karansinhji High School, which was damaged in last year's earthquake. The new school would be built at an estimated cost of Rs 3 crore and the project would be completed within a year. The new building will have 62 classrooms besides an office complex, laboratories and infrastructure for science, arts and commerce curriculum.
