Development strategies for aviation
The CII and the Ministry of Civil Aviation are organising an International Conference titled "Aviation 2002: Strategies for Development" [New Delhi, July 19] which aims to bring together all the stakeholders to evolve a holistic strategy for the development of civil aviation in the country. The conference would be addressed by distinguished speakers representing the industry from India and abroad. Government, investors, consultants, technical experts and academicians will share their experiences and discuss the reform imperatives required to make India a hub for the global aviation industry.
Shahnawaz Hussain, Union Minister for Civil Aviation, N.K. Singh, Member, Planning Commission, and K. Roy Paul, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, are likely to speak at the Conference.
