Consultants solicited for Rewas Port
Rewas Ports Ltd has floated a tender soliciting expression of interest from competent domestic and international port consultants for the Rewas-Aware Port. The scope of work includes preparation of the Detailed Project Report, master planning of the port for the next 30 years, detailed planning for phased development, plan for back-up area development and advise to the licensee on other related development of hub port. Preparation of reports to lenders as also for inviting investors to participate in the development of the port forms part of the specified work.
The Maharashtra Maritime Board, the licensor, has signed a 50-year BOOST (Build, Own, Operate, Share & Transfer) agreement with Rewas Port Ltd for developing an all-weather multipurpose deep-water port at Rewas in Mumbai harbour.
The last date for submission of the EoI is within a month from the date of floating the tender.
