The $155-million Nasdaq-listed Manhattan Associates plans to set up an R&D centre in Bangalore at an estimated cost of Rs 11 crore. The US-based supply chain execution and collaborative commerce solutions provider is also planning to establish a customer support centre in Bangalore by the first quarter of next year.
The R&D centre, apart from providing R&D support to its parent in USA, will also offer implementation services to its parent company's clients in the UK, Asia-Pacific, Japan and the Middle East. The centre will have a total manpower strength of 60 by this year-end. The centre will be 100 per cent EOU.
