Coke plant to be privatised

In a bid to encourage investments in Kuwait’s oil sector, the Kuwait Oil Corporation (KOC) has begun preparing one of its coke calcification plants for privatization. The plant has a production capacity of 300,000 tonnes per annum. The calcinated petroleum coke is mainly used in the aluminum industry. KOC has asked the Global Investment House (GIH) to offer financial consultancy for the plant’s privatization.
