Public transportation system for Nashik
The Nashik Municipal Corporation has invited applications for development of a public transportation system along the right bank canal on a BOT basis. The scope of work includes:
- Detailed inspection of right bank canal land within municipal limits to ascertain the feasibility of a PTS.
- Studying the alternative systems like railway, tramway, mini buses, sky bus etc.
- Studying and analysing the prospective passenger load on this route; financial implications; alternatives for highways and other road crossings; and, commercial site development.
Intended bidders must submit the prefeasibility report regarding the above scope of work. The stretch is about 18 km. Entrepreneurs and companies must have a minimum turnover of Rs 10 crore in a single year, during the last three fiscal years, and experience of similar type of work.
Tender documents will be issued up to September 10 on payment of Rs 5,000. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 11 am on September 17. The last date for submission of sealed tender bids (technical) is 3 pm on September 30 at the office of DMC (Administration), NMC. Tender documents will be opened on the same day, if possible.

Road project on BOT basis in MP
The Madhya Pradesh Rajya Setu Nirman Nigam Ltd has invited bids for undertaking road construction on a BOT basis in the state. The work will involve strengthening, upgrading, widening and reconstruction of the 144-km long Bina-Guna road and the 38.4-km long Jabalpur-Shahpura road.
Package-I is valued at Rs 41 crore and package-II has an outlay of Rs 21 crore.
Applicants may purchase the tender documents for Rs 10,000 up to September 27. These must be submitted by September 28.
