Bangla PSU seeks foreign tie-ups
The Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation, a Bangladesh PSU, is planning to go in for foreign collaboration for manufacturing and assembling of motor vehicles. The corporation will shortly invite bids on international competitive bidding. Presently, motor vehicles are assembled at the Joydevpur BRTC workshop. The government is going to increase the capacity of the workshop in collaboration with foreign companies. The corporation also intends to import three-wheeler CNG vehicles from India and China. It hopes to import 1,000 of these vehicles during the current year.
