62-km Outer Ring Road in Karnataka opened

With the commissioning of the Tumkur-Magadi-Mysore road stretch in Karnataka, the entire 62-km long Outer Ring Road connecting BTM Layout, J.P. Nagar, Banashankari, Jalahalli, Hebbal, Hennur, Koramangala, K.R. Puram and Hosur Road has been completed. The Bangalore Development Authority undertook the project, which cost Rs 180 crore. 
    The Tumkur-Magadi-Mysore stretch of road, which was laid at a cost of Rs 53 crore, is a dual and three-lane carriageway with service roads on either side.
