GAIL to invest Rs.12000 crore

GAIL India which is working on building a 6400 kms gas pipeline grid across the country will be investing close to Rs.12000 crore over the next six to seven year period.This was stated by the CMD Proshanto Banerjee in New Delhi recently.For more details on GAIL’s plan see article “ PSU Major on Expansion Spree” covered in Project Monitor issue dated December 16-31, 2002.( 09/01/2003)
