Power Grid bags DRDO contract

The Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd has bagged a contract from Defence Research & Development Organisation for the turnkey execution of 132 kV double circuit transmission line from Mahadeopur Grid substation of Bihar State Electricity Board, to provide bulk power supply to the Ordnance Factory at Rajgir Nalanda in Bihar. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 10 crore. The project is slated for completion within 15 months.
