Work on Hassan airport to start soon

The Karnataka state cabinet has decided to initially release Rs 10 crore for the Hassan airport project. The Revenue Department and Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board have acquired 189.6 hectares, and the airport will come up at Bhuvanahalli on the outskirts of the city. AAI has asked KIADB to submit a report on high-tension wires in a radius of 20 km from the site. The construction of roads connecting the airport will start soon.
