Bina Refinery project moves ahead

BPCL, the promoter of Bina Refinery project, has issued a letter of intent to Engineers India Ltd for carrying out the detailing of the selected process configuration for the proposed refinery project. EIL is expected to execute both the jobs by the end of May. EIL will also do the cost estimation.
It may be recalled that the Madhya Pradesh government recently gave several tax incentives and exemptions for the project as a result of which the project has been revived. Presently, BPCL is evaluating these concessions and a comprehensive memorandum of understanding will be signed with the state government soon.
