66 kV substation at Chandigarh

A 66 kV substation will be set up at Manimajra, Chandigarh, at an estimated cost of Rs 9.71 crore. The substation will be set up by NTPC. The company is going to start construction immediately and the substation will be ready by August 2006. With the creation of 66-KV substation, the capacity of the substation would be increased from 23 MVA to 40 MVA.
