Haryana to build canal

PM News Bureau

The Haryana government will construct a new canal to provide water to middle and southern parts of the state. The project will be developed from village Sumana on Haryana's border with Punjab to Anta-head near Safidon in Jind district. The Rs 260 crore project is likely to take about two years to complete. An amount of Rs 75 crore has been allocated in the state budget for construction of the canal.
