Bombay Rayon to set up integrated facility

Bombay Rayon Fashions is setting up an integrated facility of yarn dyeing, weaving, process house and garment manufacturing at the apparel park being developed by the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board in Doddballapur near Bangalore on two plots of land admeasuring approximately 20.16 acres. 
Gherzi Eastern Limited has done techno-economic feasibility study and UTI Bank Limited has done financial appraisal for the expansion project. The cost is estimated to be Rs 144.3 crore. The entire requirement of funds is proposed to be funded through rupee term loans to be raised through banks/financial institutions and proceeds of the public issue planned in the near future. 
A plot of land admeasuring 15.50 acres has been allotted to the company by the industrial board. The company awarded contract for civil construction work to Gannon Dunkerley and Company Ltd. The entire project is expected to be completed by March 2006. l
