Suryajyoti chalks out Rs 195 cr. expansion

Suryajyoti Spinning Mills Ltd has chalked out an expansion plan in a phased manner for its production facilities in Andhra Pradesh. In phase-I, the company will add 25,000 spindles at an investment of Rs 45 crore taking the overall capacity to about 90,000 spindles. The new unit will be located in Mahabubnagar district. The company has already finalised land for the project. The unit will start commercial production in the second-half of 2006. 
In addition, the company is also working on the feasibility of setting up of a fully integrated state-of-the-art weaving, processing and garmenting unit. This unit will entail an investment of Rs 150 crore. This project will be implemented in phase-II.
