SRS Entertainment plans 3 multiplexes

SRS Entertainment Ltd proposes to set up three multiplexes at Agra, Ludhiana and Muzaffarnagar. Each of the multiplexes will include cinema halls, malls, SRS bazaars and food courts. The project has been appraised by UTI Bank Ltd. The company plans to fund these projects through equity contribution (promoter's contribution and IPO), internal accruals and borrowings. While the Agra and Ludhiana multiplexes are due for completion in September 2007, the Muzaffarnagar project will be completed by March 2008. The total cost of all the projects is estimated at Rs 76.74 crore.
In addition, SRSEL also intends to establish SRS value bazaars, food courts and restaurants, multiplexes and cinemas on leased premises. The company has identified four locations for this purpose. While Gurgaon will have two such projects, one multiplex each will be set up in Jodhpur and Amritsar. The total cost of these projects is around Rs 25.52 crore. The first project at Gurgaon will be completed next March. Second project at Gurgaon is scheduled for completion in March 2007. While the Jodhpur project will be completed in March 2007, the Amritsar project is scheduled for completion in September 2007.
