DozeeMumbai, 1st April 2020: Dozee, a contact-free health monitor that tracks heartbeat, respiration, sleep, and stress-recovery with medical-grade 98.4% accuracy has collaborated with Ashiana housing for their assisted living elder care facility. Ashiana, a renowned developer has a specialized housing society for senior citizens across Bhiwadi, Delhi, Lavasa-Pune, Jaipur, Chennai and are a pioneer in senior living in India. There are offerings for both active seniors as well as those seniors who require greater assistance. Dozee has collaborated with their assisted living facility wherein elders who require assistance in day to day facilities, medication management, health monitoring can be helped closely.

Dozee is a thin sensor sheet that goes below the mattress and flags off health deterioration well in advance. It is the only device that gives continuous respiration data, that too without the need of wires or any technical expertise. During these crucial times, as more and more elders need proactive health monitoring, Dozee is aiding in knowing the continuous health status of elders, that can be accessed easily by medical professionals on a single dashboard remotely. This reduces the burden on the limited medical staff available and prevents their exposure to infection spread. Health staff is now able to spend more time in face-to-face interactions, instead of spending time collecting vitals’ data, helping ease anxiety of elders in these tough times. Children living away from their elders can also remotely monitor their health on the app.

Launched in mid-2019, Dozee is available on both Amazon.in & its website. Dozee has also been backed by reputed companies like Qualcomm, Department of Biotechnology – Govt of India, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for product development and acceleration. This Bengaluru based healthcare startup is the brainchild of Mr. Mudit Dandwate and Mr. Gaurav Parchani, both IIT alumni.

Mr. Mudit Dandwate, CEO, Dozee, states, “We understand the health emergency the world is facing and we are supporting in smaller ways. Owing to the statistics and being aware of the susceptibility faced by elders, we are happy to collaborate with Ashiana’s assisted living facility. As children we are worried about our parent’s and grandparents’ health during unsettling times like these and Dozee aims to enable remote health monitoring. Doctors on board with us alert the audience if health declines in advance so that necessary steps can be taken. We hope to continue our association with Ashiana & support their cause of redefining senior living in India.”

Mr. Ankur Gupta, Joint Managing Director, quoted, “At this point of crisis, we are finding dozee great support, sitting at home we can monitor vitals of our Care home residents, it has reduced our anxiety about welfare of residents”

Dr.Muralidhara C P (Head-Senior Living) Ashiana Housing Ltd said, “Dozee gives me wonderful analytics of breathing patterns, heartbeat and sleep patterns of our residents which I can remotely monitor. This allows us to predict possible health crises. Great feature and very handy during lockdown period and otherwise”
