SPML Infra Received Award
for Outstanding Contribution in Completion of SAUBHAGYA Scheme in Bihar

Honorable Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar has conferred the Award for Outstanding Contribution in Completion of ‘Har Ghar Bijli’ SAUBHAGYA Scheme in Bihar to SPML Infra Limited in a function held in Patna on 1st November 2018. The award was given to SPML Infra for completing the important work of rural electrification by electrifying 483 villages before the scheduled target date within a month period in Gaya district of Bihar. The award was received by Mr. Abhinandan Sethi, Associate Director and Mr. Amitava Basu, Exec. Vice President for the company.
Honorable Prime Minister had set the target of completing the electrification process across the country by December 2018 under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana’ (SAUBHAGYA) scheme. As per the program, the Bihar Government has intensified the electrification work and has achieved the target under the scheme two months ahead of its stipulated deadline. SPML Infra being an important development partner with the state government has completed the rural electrification work in Gaya and Patna districts by electrifying more than 4000 villages. The award was received by Mr. Abhinandan Sethi, Associate Director of SPML Infra limited.
