Maharashtra Highway

A provision of Rs 3,500 crore has been made to complete the Kokan Marine Highway in three years. A Ring Road of 170 km will be constructed to divert the traffic entering Pune city from Nashik, Aurangabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Mumbai; an Rs 15,000 crore expenditure is expected for developing the project. The work on the project will commence in FY20 and will be completed in the next four years by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC).
