The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), a hospitality company, has opened The Connaught, New Delhi, on 10 November 2020.
The Connaught will be a part of the SeleQtions brand, a collection of hotels and resorts.
The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) had floated tender for Hotel Connaught and IHCL won the auction in June 2018. The Connaught is the newest hotel in the SeleQtions portfolio.
With the launch of the new hotel, IHCL has further strengthened its presence in Delhi. The Connaught is located in Lutyens’ Delhi. The hotel has 104 rooms that have been conceptualised by Swedish designer Christian Lundwall of LWA.
The hotel’s offerings include an all-day diner, The Hub. It has spaces for business conferences or social gatherings, including 2,000 sqft open air terrace.
With this addition, IHCL will have 15 hotels in Delhi-NCR, including two under development.
