The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has taken up the four-laning of the 84-km Panvel-Indapur section along the Maharashtra-Goa border on PPP basis under NHDP-III. Supreme Panvel Indapur Tollways Pvt. Ltd is the concessionaire for this NHAI project. The cost of the project is estimated at Rs. 943 crore.

The ministry also announced the completion of the four-laning of the 21.50-km Zarap-Patradevi section from km 0/000 to 21/508 at a cost of around Rs. 264 crore.

Meanwhile, the feasibility study report and detailed project report for four-laning of the Indapur-Zarap section has been approved by the ministry. Maharashtra PWD is executing the project which may be developed on PPP or EPC basis depending on its financial viability.
