Nuberg Engineering Ltd, a leading global EPC company based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, has been awarded a $15-million chlor alkali project by Al Ghaith Industries in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The EPC project is for doubling Al Ghaith’s caustic soda production capacity from 140 tpd to 280 tpd.

Nuberg Engineering Ltd is already in the process of commissioning phase-I of the project for 140 tpd worth $19 million. The new project is going to commence its production in Q1 of 2015 and aims to enhance the configuration by increasing the production to 280 tons of caustic soda per day. The plant will also produce co-products like hydrochloric acid, sodium hypochlorite and calcium chloride to cater to the local and regional oil and gas industry.
