Balasore Alloys Ltd has invited global bids for the engineering, procurement and construction package for the 1x 67.5 mw coal-based thermal power plant (phase-I) at its plant at Balgopalpur in Balasore district, Orissa, on a single-point responsibility turnkey basis.
The scope of work includes EPC for boiler turbine generator and balance of plant package (BTG + BoP) with provision for installation of another 1x 67.5 mw unit (phase-II) in future, to be set up adjacent to the existing ferroalloys plant.
The cost of tender documents is Rs 20,000 and the last date of submission of bids is April 21, 2008.
