The Water & Power Consultancy Services (India) Ltd has secured four projects in Ethiopia. D. Dutta, CMD, WAPCOS, signed agreements in Ethiopia for the feasibility study and detail design of Kesem Dam and Tendaho Dam. Agreements were also signed for EIA study of Koga Irrigation and Watershed Management project and extension of services for Wabi Shebelle River Basin Master Plan study. 
Meanwhile, India and Nepal have reached an agreement to take up field investigations and preparation of the joint DPR of Sapta Kosi high dam multipurpose project and Sun Kosi storage-cum-diversion scheme. The field investigation and joint DPR for both projects would be completed within 30 months. Discussions are also continuing with Nepal for Kamla and Bagmati multipurpose projects on rivers Kamla and Bagmati, respectively. This information was given by Minister of State for Water Resources Jai Prakash Narayan Yadav in the Sabha recently.
