The government is drawn up a plan to build a medical college and hospital in a tribal area of Tripura. The state already has two medical colleges and the Prime Minister has recently inaugurated a dental college.
The state government has already identified a location for a medical college in Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) area.
The district and sub-divisional hospitals are working on to improve the medical facilities to ease the load on GBP Hospital and Agartala Medical College.
