Sushee Infra & Mining (SIML)-MRKR Consortium (SIML is the lead member) has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for development and operationalisation of Chandragupt OCP in the state of Jharkhand. In February 2021, Central Coalfields had issued global tenders for development and operationalisation of Chandragupt OCP in mine developer and operator (MDO) mode for a period 25 years through a mine operator for excavation of coal and delivery thereof to the Authority. Apart from SIML, the tender saw participation from Adani Enterprises and Montecarlo. The project located in North Karanpura Coalfields, Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand. The value of the contract is Rs 21,956.64 crore with a contract period of 25 years.
