RDA Energy Pvt. Ltd (RDA), a Kolkata based Atha group company, is planning to commission 10-MW PV-based solar power plant in Bhilwara, Rajasthan by April 2015. The aggregate project cost of Rs. 79.53 crore (Rs. 7.9 crore/MW) is being funded at a debt equity ratio of 70:30. The project is being implemented under Phase 2 Batch 1 of JNNSM under the domestic content requirement (DCR) category.

RDA has entered into a fixed price contract with Juwi India Renewable Energies Pvt. Ltd. for the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of the 10 MW solar power plant. The company has also entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for supply of solar power for a period of 25 years with the tariff being Rs.5.45 per unit for a period of 25 years. This apart, the company has also entered into a viability gap funding (VGF) securitization agreement with SECI, under which SECI will provide VGF funding support of Rs. 2.12 crore per MW.
