Tadali thermal power project being set up at an estimated cost of Rs. 3,479 crore in Tadali Industrial Area, Chandrapur district, Maharashtra is expected to be fully commissioned by June 2014. Unit-I (300 MW) of the project has already been synchronized with the power transmission network in September 2013.

Tadali power project is being developed by Dhariwal Infrastructure Limited currently belonging to the RP-Sanjeev Goenka owned group company, CESC Infrastructure Ltd. 2X300 MW thermal power project was supposed be commissioned by September 2013. However, the schedule had to be revised due to change in the scope of the work. The power will be supplied to Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB) and Tata Power. Coal for the plant will be supplied from South Eastern Coalfields.
