Two laning of Paron-Goras section of State Highway 23 of Madhya Pradesh has seen cost overrun of around Rs. 3.89 crore due to slight delay in completion of the project. The project is being implemented by Guna Sheopur Pathways Pvt. Ltd. (GSPPL) which is a Special Purpose Vehicle under concession from MPRDC on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis.
As a result of cost overrun, revised project cost now stands at Rs. 108.27 crore and the entire cost overrun has been funded through equity contribution. The project is expected to be completed shortly.
